TRI was founded in December 2016 as Community Based Organisation inspired by lessons we learned after working for ten years in refugee response. TRI founders’ first years after inception were characterized by emergency responses to refugee operation. It was our experience gained in the field that laid the foundation for what drives the organization today and that gave birth to our flexible and sustainable in-country strategies. TRI founders have worked in refugee operation for over ten years, with extensive ground operations in two refugee settlements currently, and founders have worked closely with governments and international agencies, including the UN, to reach those most in need. TRI founders are exposed to working with Partners like UNHCR in Uganda, JICA Japan agency, with UNICEF, WFP and UNDP in South Sudan, and with Office of the Prime Minister OPM
