In 1984 Dr John was born again outside a pub called The Dickens Inn, in Dickens Road in Gravesend that is when Jesus appeared to me and told me he had a miracle for my mess and that night I was set free from drink, drugs. Then I went to a bible college called International Bible Training Institute, where I was a cook, after being there for a short time the leaders asked me to help run an outreach in the town with some people, it was called the lighthouse outreach where we saw a whole secondary school born again, we were leading at least 10 people a week to the lord and seeing many filled with the Holy Spirit. In 1986 I was asked to be a full time Evangelist for teen challenge shop in leek in Staffordshire where we would run a coffee shop and have outreach in the town and surrounding area. In 2000 I was asked to help pioneer a new church with someone in Stoke on Trent which was called kids grove church, which was a success.
