Relief to Development Society (REDESO) is a Tanzania registered National NGO in 1998 under the Society Ordinance number S.O. No. 9459 of 1954. The main objectives of the organization focus on relief and community development programs. For over 20 years, the organization has supported refugees, asylum seekers and local communities in Kagera, Kigoma, Tanga, Dar es Salaam, Mwanza, Tabora, Shinyanga, Simiyu and Katavi Regions in Tanzania. REDESO is a long time serving partner with UNHCR from 1998 to date in serving Burundian and Congolese refugees in North-western Tanzania and urban caseload in Dar es Salaam. The organization also manages the DAFI Scholarship-Tertiary Education for Refugees. The organization has also worked in partnership with OXFAM (GB) and OHK, CONCERN WORLDWIDE, DANIDA, CAFOD (UK), JIFPRO, WFP, and UNICEF.
