The Apac Anti-Corruption Coalition (TAACC) was founded in 2003 comprising of 150 subscribed members (CBOs, NGOs, Media Houses and Individual Activists) with a vision to create a society free of corruption and human rights abuse with transparent and effective service delivery in the former Apac district (comprising the present day Apac, Kole and Oyam districts). On 12th August 2003, TAACC registered with the National NGO Board as a National Organisation with a national mandate (Reg. No: S.5914/4566) and with the Registrar of Companies Kampala on the 9th Day of September 2003 (No. 60255). With its expanded mandate, TAACC now envisions a Ugandan society where citizens are empowered and are being well governed. It seeks to realise this vision by mobilizing, empowering and strengthening capacity of citizens to engage and demand for effective and sustainable service delivery from duty bearers and other service providers
