Rays of Good Hope International Volunteers works closely with each volunteer to ensure a comprehensive preparation that includes both understanding of the people with whom they will be working with and all considerations necessary for travel overseas. At ROHIV, we provide quality, meaningful and affordable volunteer travel opportunities in East Africa. Though we would want to venture deep into the interior where the majority of people are affected by dire poverty, we have decided to concentrate in an upcoming metropolis of Mukono District in Uganda which has seen unprecedented growth in populations due to an expansion of Kampala City thus the increase of poverty and other explosive social issues. We are working with Orphans, disadvantaged children, the vulnerable girl child, the youths, women who are poor and forcefully divorced and shunned by the community due to old traditional practices. Rays of Good hope strives to provide quality healthcare, education and access to clean water
