Twiga Campsite & Lodge can arrange both Tented and Lodge safaris – and a combination of both. We also have tents and other camping equipment for hire. For backpackers on a low budget, we suggest taking one of the daily, local buses (such as Dar Express) from Arusha to Mto wa Mbu/Twiga Campsite; a budget safari can then be arranged on the spot. You can also hike with one of our local, English-speaking guides on a walking tour or cultural expedition in and around Mto wa Mbu, a colorful market town where representatives of 120 Tanzanian tribes are resident. Bicycles can be hired at reasonable rates for exploring our surrounds in the 20-million-year-old Great Rift Valley
