TUMa is the main campus of Tumaini University. It was founded in 1947 as Makumira Lutheran Theological College and in 1997 it became a private university. Degree programs offered are Theology (Bachelor, Masters, PhD), Law (Bachelor, Masters), Education (Languages, History, Geography at Bachelor and Masters level), Computer Science (Bachelor), and Music (Bachelor).
