Plant name: ANTHURIUM andraenum also known as flamingo or lance leaf

Is a delightful tropical plant with glossy heart shaped dropping leaves and bright heart shaped blooms with colors varying from Red, orange,pink, white, green and black

It is basically an indoor plant which makes it a very good house plant and you can have it for your office too and in any other indoor space,

For outdoor purposes you can have it on your shady balcony, use it in your landscape work as long as its in a shady spot

Anthuriums are not hard to care for and maintain as long as you have the plant in the right soil, and in the right light location

The plant grows best in bright indirect light however in very low light conditions, it will have fewer flowers and grow slower and yet so direct burning sun may cause the leaves to burn

Fertilise once in a while like every after 4months with a fertiliser with high concentration of Phosphorus to induce blooms

For the potted plant, only water when the soil is dry and to avoid over watering since the plant is susceptible to root rot
